Who We Are
Africa Ukraine Foundation is a charity organisation with a pledge to gather vital resources from Africa to extend humanitarian aid & support to vulnerable Ukrainian civilians profoundly affected by the ravages of an ongoing war. Amidst the ongoing crisis stemming from the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Africa Ukraine Foundation stands as a beacon of hope for those deeply affected.
In response to the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure caused by missiles & bombs, our foundation swiftly mobilised to provide crucial assistance to the civilian population. With approximately 5.1 million people displaced from their homes & over 6.2 million seeking refuge in neighbouring countries, those who remain in the decimated cities & villages face imminent risks. They endure the harrowing aftermath without access to essential resources like electricity, medicine, heating, education & food.
Our Calling
Our mission is to gather essential resources—food, medical supplies, clothing, financial support, or dedicated volunteers—to provide vital non-lethal aid. Our focus is on supporting civilians in war-torn cities & villages within Ukraine, as well as those seeking refuge in neighbouring countries.
Our Vision
We want to be the guiding light in the midst of darkness, striving to create stability after conflict where every individual impacted by conflict in Ukraine finds solace & receives the necessary aid. We envision a future where our collective efforts lead to the restoration of stability, & security, & the rebuilding of shattered lives in the war-torn regions of Ukraine.
